Bio

Growing up in California, Devin Jones became one of the youngest IKF go-karting “experts” in history at the age of 11 after winning two “Duffy” Grand National Championships in the same year. He also earned WKA Grand National “Eagle” and WKA Gold Cup titles and was the “most winning” Cadet Go-Kart racer in Southern California. In 2007, at the age of 12, Jones and the Devin Jones Racing team moved east to
Mooresville, N.C. Just after his 13th birthday, Jones started racing in the highly-competitive Legends Car Series. In his first 8 months of racing in the Legends Car series, Jones amassed 8 1st place finishes and 36 top fives, earning him the honors to move from the Semi Pro to the Pro class two months before his 14th birthday. In 2009 Jones raced a Super Late Model in PASS South were he ran a partial schedule in his first year of Super Late Model racing, Jones finished an impressive ninth in the season standings, despite not competing in four of the 14 events. Jones also qualified in the top 10 in all but three races. He had multiple top 10s and a top 3 finish at Hickory. In 2010 with some PASS South races under his belt, Jones had many top 10 and top 5 finishes in the most competitive Super Late Model series in the country. Motor issues at Wake County, Dillon, and Orange County took him out of the race, all when leading. Jones was top 5 in the standings all year. In 2011, Jones ran selected Skip Barber Series events and will run Late Moel Stock races in the southeast. He scored back - back podiums at Homestead Miami Speedway (FL) in just his second start in the open wheeled Skip Barber cars.
